What is a DA FORM 7807?
Since the early days of the pandemic, the Department of Defense has been working tirelessly to provide critical supplies and support to civilian health care providers. As the supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other medical supplies became depleted, it became clear that the Department would need to find new ways to increase production. One way the Department has done this is by using its existing industrial base to produce PPE and other medical supplies.
The Department of Defense’s Industrial Operations Command (DODIOCOM) is working with a variety of partners, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), state health departments, and medical supplies manufacturers. The Department is also working with the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) to develop a better understanding of the requirements for medical products, in order to more effectively meet those requirements (see figure).
